After a two-year wait since Netflix's initial announcement in 2021, a teaser for the Tomb Raider anime has finally been unveiled.

This anime is produced by Legendary Entertainment and animated by Powerhouse Animation, known for their work on titles like Castlevania and Masters of the Universe: Revelation. "Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft" will continue the story in a canonical way, following the events of the latest games. In other words, it will be an official storyline set in the same universe as the games.

Although not officially confirmed, reports suggest that Hayley Atwell (known for her role in Agent Carter) will be the voice of Lara Croft.

In addition to this anime, there is also a live-action series in collaboration with Amazon, and a new Tomb Raider game in development with the support of Amazon Games.

Fans can look forward to the premiere of "Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft" on Netflix in 2024.
